MokweleScoop
Upon discovering that our 2023 model was not manufactured, we acquired a 2021 model two weeks ago, particularly equipped with back entertainment due to our five children, all aged nine and under. We have an upcoming road trip, so I tested the RES with our Fire Stick and discovered that those ports are nonfunctional. I am unable to charge my phone using the USBC cable. The 110v plug located underneath the ports is functional and seems to be operational, as shown by the green light. I have thoroughly inspected all the fuses, and they are all functioning properly. Has anybody else encountered this problem and discovered a solution?
StormChantana
Is it activated? A button is located below and to the left of the steering wheel, next to the one that disables the auto stop/start feature. I am uncertain as to the rationale of their inclusion of a switch to deactivate it, but it exists. Perhaps it serves as a means to confound the children in the rear seat? MokweleScoop
Indeed, I have activated the plug. I have consistently found it peculiar to have to activate it as well. The malfunctioning components are especially the two USB-C ports and the two HDMI ports located above the power outlet.
EcoWarrior
Have you discovered a resolution to this issue? I own a 2021 Suburban with a same configuration, and we often get connectivity problems with the rear HDMI connections. I have not used the USB ports but anticipate they may exhibit the same problem. TattooArtist
I encountered exactly same issue. I replaced the HDMI and USB-C module, and functionality was restored.
MokweleScoop
Affirmative. I just retrieved my automobile today after its repairs were completed. Indeed, "rectified." A wire was found to be damaged under the passenger seat. They repaired it, only to discover that the whole port region, a term I cannot recall, was defective, necessitating the ordering of a replacement component and its complete substitution. I am now in my garage experimenting with it and have managed to connect it to my Fire Stick; however, it subsequently displays "no signal HDMI." I am now experiencing significant annoyance. I have a four-hour road trip scheduled for tomorrow morning and am disappointed that this will not be feasible for that journey and the return trip.
