cashewsdinner
Following two instances of tire deflation within a span of 13 months, both of which were unable to be effectively re-inflated using a run-flat kit, I am now considering the purchase of a spare tire kit. I have seen that Kia offers such a kit for sale. Does anybody has any prior experience with this? The Kia Niro Spare Tire Kit is specifically designed to fit snugly into the storage compartment of your car. Although the product claims to be portable and provide a dependable spare tire, it is unclear how it can be accommodated under the rear luggage deck. Is there anything that I am not understanding? An external attachment on the back hatch would be excellent, however I am not optimistic about its availability.
peonymuffler
PHEVs have additional packaging challenges due to the much bigger battery and the inclusion of conventional gasoline components such as a fuel tank. Therefore, it is very likely that these difficulties are related to the hybrid version of the Niro, and less likely to be specific to the electric-only variant. Interestingly, the Sportage PHEV lacks a spare tire, although the Sorento PHEV is equipped with one. It may be worth considering a hitch with a spare tire attachment for the Niro PHEV, however its feasibility is uncertain.
cashewsdinner
According to the information provided in the product link: Compatibility: Niro Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV), and Electric Vehicle (EV)
peonymuffler
It will be compatible for usage, but it does not address the absence of the under-trunk well that is provided in the hybrid version. Possibly, individuals have attempted various resolutions on the internet. Equipping automobiles without extra parts is a frequently encountered problem. tomatoeincluding
In my Niro 2020 EX Premium, there was an unoccupied wheel well located under the rear luggage area. Initially, I had to remove a segmented sub layer to access it. I purchased a Kia Niro Spare Tire Kit (M015) for the 2017-2022 model. The kit includes Option 2, which includes a mounted spare tire. I purchased my item two years ago at a cost of $325.

cashewsdinner
I hadn't considered it before, but I will see whether it may be removed in the 2023 model.
