  1. Advance the lever to alternate between high and low beam.
  2. "I could not conceive that this would cause the low beams to malfunction." It functions dip/main beams. From the owner's handbook High beam and low beam
  3. Have you evaluated the dipped beam bulbs? If you have changed the dash panel light switch, have you examined and tested the light combination stalk/switch?
  4. I have not yet engaged in any of the measurement protocols you are discussing about this project; but, I have extensively researched many "MB concepts unfamiliar to me," with this being the foremost among them. It is essential to note that harmonic balancers also decay. The rubber allows the degree wheel to shift slightly, resulting in inaccurate readings. Confirm the accuracy of the HB by measuring TDC in both directions using the 'long item' inserted into the spark plug hole, and thereafter calculate the average of the two measurements. It seems to me that 18 degrees would indicate improper functioning, even if it pertains to just one bank.
  5. It may be a wheel bearing, since they exhibit unusual behavior.
  6. The front body dampers were removed from my 2011 3.0 L320. The back components remain there, however they were never affixed to the front. I would want to mention that I own ACE, however I am uncertain whether it has any significance.
  7. I have lately learned that the nylon coupler may induce bearing problems. At this juncture, I would choose for stock.
  8. I believe that I am the only one present who has successfully executed the installation process. The disparity in noise level is more pronounced, but I would not describe it as irritating. I have a straight piped exhaust system with LMS 200cell catalytic headers. I suppose the stock is 1000 cells. I saw a little increase in horsepower, but a significant boost in torque. By installing headers and bigger MAF housings/filters, I achieved a significant increase of 54 ft/lbs in wheel torque.
