  1. It seems that you are shorting the tail light terminal and the brake light terminal. You may be backfeeding 12V from the tail light pole to the brake lights, which is inadvisable since it may lead to blown fuses over time. The brake stop light switch has 3 pairs of connections for automobiles with Touchmatic gear shifters. The first pair is designated for the brake lights (thick poles), which are often in an open state. The second pair pertains to the traction system (ETC/ASR/BAS/ESP) and is often in a closed state. The third pair is designated for the gear shifter and remains generally open when the brake pedal is withdrawn. The brake light signal is sent to a relay contact (K55) located under the hood near the 38-pin connection socket with the Electronic Stability Program (ESP). The relay contact is ordinarily closed, but when ESP conducts the braking while driving, it opens the relay to silence brake lights. A defective or absent relay will result in a malfunction of the brake lights. This may be or may not be your issue, but it is simple to check.
  2. I remain uncertain. When you state, "I observed that when I connect the iron 'pen' to the light bulb, all three brake lights illuminate," which specific light bulb are you referring to, and where on the light bulb do you put the "ground" or 12V? The three brake light bulbs possess distinct power supply and grounding, making them mostly independent of one another. I inquired if your vehicle is equipped with the ESP or ASR feature. When ESP is enabled, a relay suppresses the brake lights. In the absence of such relay, the brake lights will be inoperative. Did the issue present at the time of purchase, or did it arise subsequent to your actions?
  3. What is the model year of your vehicle? Do you provide ESP or ASR as traction options? (Check for ASR or ESP button on the center console). I observed that when I lay the iron "pen" against the light bulb, all three brake lights activate. What is the significance of this? Kindly elucidate your actions.
  4. If you have previously calibrated, remove the door seal and carefully reattach it. Occasionally, they are not positioned properly.
  5. Yes, I worked quickly on that; I meant to say that I haven't run it since.
  6. I believe there is not. It had an extensive curing period; I believe I will not incur any losses.
  7. I will ascertain when it ceases to leak.
  8. I acquired a pre-owned 3000GT a few months back. The item was in a condition of deterioration and disassembly, hence the price was appropriate. I disassembled the engine compartment, replaced the oil pump, water pump, and timing belt. I have reassembled everything. Additionally, exhaust headers were added, since they were provided with some aftermarket components partly fitted. I rebuilt and reinstalled the starter. The cooling system, intake, and all engine-driven accessories are in their original packaging. I want to confirm that the engine would function post-repair and first attempts, so I assembled a battery and tested it. It starts and operates effectively. I applied a spray of carburetor cleaning, and the engine operates for around three seconds, indicating progress! Given the prolonged inactivity, is the fuel pump likely malfunctioning? I added 5 liters of gasoline, but there was no indication of activity other than applying carb cleaning. I will change the gasoline filter; maybe it will be beneficial. Are there further recommendations or assessments I could undertake? It arrived without brake rotors installed, but with new ones in the trunk. A plethora of other peculiar phenomena. It seems like everything is present. 95 Not Applicable
  9. As an owner of a P400 who has incorporated these features into the '24 P530, this is my perspective: 1) Upgrading the sound system to Meridian 3D is important. This was perhaps my primary grievance and one of the factors that prompted me to sell the P400. 2) Enhanced massage seats: Although I use this function less often than anticipated, the seats are more substantial and cushioned, presenting a more aesthetically pleasing appearance compared to the 20-way heated and ventilated seats. This is yet another enhancement that I find really satisfactory. 3) HUD, Clearsight, and Pixel Headlights are essential. I did not perceive the buoyant sensation with the P400 to the same extent as I am now experiencing in the P530. I am uncertain of the reason, and this has constituted one of my grievances. I do not use my vehicle in dynamic mode, and maybe I might experiment with this to see whether it proves beneficial. Subjective Well-Being (SWB) I also purchased the double-pane glass, which significantly enhances the tranquility of the cabin. The gesture tailgate function was ineffective on my 2023 model, operating correctly only around 25% of the time; thus, I excluded it from the 2024 model. My sister has an older RR that works reliably each time. She adores the attribute. 7) The full-size spare occupies the whole cargo compartment, leaving no room underneath. However, I own a quilted insert from JLR that fits into the cargo area, which may be cumbersome to unsnap and elevate to access the storage underneath.
  10. Cats are not eligible for warranty coverage and are classified as consumable items. I do not discourage the use of a carbon clean, but I am skeptical that it is the cause of this error number.
  11. Based on the information provided, if you need an immediate response, I would suggest that it is OK to continue driving since the issue seems to be connected to the exhaust or emissions.
