  1. Discovered them, thank you! I believed the screws in the center of the HVAC panel secured the control buttons, which they do, but I was unaware that they extended through to the panel cover as well. I detached them, and the panel came off easily; I am glad I did not attempt to use force.
  2. I am now engaged in this task. My device is equipped with all the necessary buttons, so I only need to exchange the faceplates. The upper radio row was straightforward; just unscrew the T6, and it detaches effortlessly. Experiencing issues with the lower section. I removed the T6 screw at the top and attempted to disengage the clips at the bottom (one was broken), but it would not release. What am I overlooking?
  3. Thank you for providing this information. I am aware this is an outdated post, but I am inquiring if it is feasible to interchange the faceplates. The donor ceramic controls I acquired for my vehicle were the appropriate LCI version; however, my faceplate was in far better condition, prompting me to simply exchange that component. It seems to be straightforward since I am not altering any buttons.
  4. You will likely discover one only at the Mercedes-Benz dealership or at a salvage yard. There are vendors who provide components online. This is one that I appreciate: https://www.mbpartsource.com/ Numerous alternatives exist, and costs fluctuate. Ensure you verify their delivery fees!
  5. I had a same issue with my 2007 Honda Fit. The issue was the disparity between the revolving mirror and the mirror mount. I validated my hypothesis by encircling the space with tape, resulting in the cessation of sound. I resolved the issue by detaching the mirror and placing little washers on the screws that fasten the mirror to the body. This widened the distance and ceased the whistling. Since it is a new vehicle, you should let the dealer to resolve the issue.
  6. You are enumerating two seldom used items: service and Superchargers. Test another electric vehicle to evaluate your preferences and identify its available and absent features. My book delineates two components of a Tesla: the electric vehicle and the Tesla engineering. My succinct remark to them is often, "How many automobiles possess integrated garage door openers?" Undoubtedly, the answer is mostly, if not entirely. "How many of them possess the intelligence to open the door upon your return home?" A Tesla has several features beyond being an electric vehicle.
  7. Disconnect one of the rear lights and enumerate the pins in the connection.
  8. The probability is equal, at fifty percent for each outcome. Even if it has the newest firmware, there exists a method to update it via Service Mode if it does not. What I intended to convey is that there may have been an upgrade to the hardware inside the light, and the vehicle may not accept two disparate hardware versions (one in each taillight).
  9. The statement is true only if the component has been upgraded, and mismatched taillights are unacceptable.
  10. My brother own a European specification 1972 350SL. The vehicle seems to be in excellent cosmetic and structural condition. The engine has not been activated for over a decade. The gas tank is missing — the original is corroded. I need suggestions for a business in the Chicago or suburban region that is capable of restoring this car. If there are establishments to be circumvented, do send me a private message. Your insights on the potential challenges and expenses associated with this project would be highly valued.
  11. Refer to the Manual, since it often provides a set of requirements that must be met for the system to operate. Additionally, there is a 70-second reset period.
