  1. My 1973 450SL use this valve underneath the vehicle. Maintains a consistent pressure, since the valve requires pressure to discharge either to the crankcase or the environment. Uncertain if your system differs in a manner that permits venting without pressure. A further technique for promptly alleviating pressure to prevent venting is to open and then shut the tank fill cap. Venting ceases with the removal of pressure.
  2. That is an impressive ; yet, I regret the incident. Exercise caution.
  3. All products originating from China are subpar, with the exception of China itself and fireworks. However, the majority of inexpensive products will originate from China, so what alternatives exist? Superior mats are likely manufactured in China.
  4. I matched the timing markings on the harmonic balancer with the movement of the cylinder 1 piston with a borescope. Upon viewing many complete spins of the crankshaft, the balancer markings seem to be precise.
  5. The right-hand head seems to be loosening, as it never exhibits bite marks; conversely, the left-hand head is often damaged.
  6. Disappointing! Perhaps ecanderson can consider an other focus. I trust you will ultimately identify the cause of the issue.
  7. They want the whole specifications for the original, presumably because, as I understand, a minimal current is sent via the sensor.

  9. NTC resistors are readily accessible. They are typically rated at 25°C. Selecting one with a 250-ohm rating should be appropriate. Some are rather little and may be affixed straight via the air cleaner aperture. Alternatively, disassemble the defective resistor and integrate it into the probe. Selecting the optimal resistor exceeds my financial capacity. Perhaps one of our electronics experts might assist.
  10. Disconnecting or lacking an air temperature sensor will result in an excessively rich mixture. The sensor's resistance would thus be seen by the ECU as very high or infinite. The mixture becomes more concentrated at lower temperatures (increased resistance). When the temperature reaches around 70°F, the air temperature sensor seemingly does not influence the mixture, and the vehicle will operate correctly if all other components of the mixture management system are functioning properly. In warm climates where ambient air temperatures are consistently elevated, the air temperature sensor may be of little use. Nonetheless, the coolant sensor is present!
  11. The corresponding Bosch component number is 0280130006. It may facilitate the search process. Although it seems difficult to locate, it has been used in several automotive models and manufacturers, suggesting that it may be available in stock at some location.
  12. Admittedly, there is more competition in the electric vehicle market today compared to when you acquired your first Tesla. I am now on my first lease and want to pursue a second upon its expiration next summer. My spouse encourages me to consider a different brand; nevertheless, I have been rather satisfied with my Model Y for the last two years, to be honest. No concerns; it operates really well, and I continue to anticipate driving it. I would even look back over my shoulder after parking it when it is immaculate and gleaming. May I experiment with a different brand next year? Indeed, certainly. Competition is beneficial and forces Tesla to be vigilant; yet, if I choose an alternative and it fails to meet my expectations, I will regret my decision significantly. I believe their expertise and experience much surpass those of other EV firms. Why alter it if it is not significantly flawed? However, preferences vary, since some may want that change; still, it is not a risk I am willing to take. Therefore, a Model Y or Model X is likely in my near future. Yay 🙂
  13. If the cylinders are indeed heavily carboned up, the possible cause of the noise you are hearing might be piston slap resulting from rings that are stuck. Was this automobile subjected to traffic congestion during the period between oil changes at 10,000 miles? I would remove the valve covers to check for any substantial accumulation of sludge. Do fault codes exist for large knock counts?
  14. After a single dry-ice treatment, it will seem as if it is in pristine condition.
  15. I will make an attempt, expressing gratitude for your assistance. It is remarkable that a large number of identical automobiles equipped with American modems are being driven here and are able to get updates. As an example, my buddy and I both own identical Tesla vehicles, and his car is receiving updates over an American modem.
